Profile of Mr Nathaniel Lam
Nate is a cell biologist and bioengineer with experience in deploying microphysiological systems into academic and industrial settings. During his PhD within GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Stevenage, the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, the Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Disease (CITIID), and the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB), he investigated bronchial immunity using various respiratory models. Currently based in GSK’s Complex In Vitro Models team, Nate implements novel 3D platforms into the drug discovery workflow to improve clinical translation, particularly for immunological interventions.
