Dr Chris Ward

Chris is director, co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of StrataStem Ltd and Honorary Reader in Stem Cell Biology at The University of Manchester. StrataStem is working at the forefront of Alzheimer's disease (AD) research and is developing intelligent phenotype-genotype (iPG) drug screening platforms to identify appropriate therapeutics for AD. We use induced Pluripotent Stem Cells derived from AD patients to rapidly isolate neural progenitor cells, using our patented technology, to create Alzheimer’s disease in a dish cell models.
