Mike Westby

Mike is an experienced Drug Discovery Exec in Pharma and Biotech. He trained as a molecular and cellular biologist before joining Roche and then Pfizer to develop novel medicines for infectious diseases. Whilst at Pfizer, Mike played a leading role in the development and subsequent approval of a novel HIV medicine (maraviroc) that targets HIV entry. For the past 8 years Mike has founded and led 2 start up UK biotechs: Agalimmune (sold to BiolineRx in 2017) and Centauri Therapeutics.
