Profile of Dr Harriet Stanway-Gordon
Dr. Harriet Stanway-Gordon is an EPSRC doctoral prize fellow within the Kawamura group at Newcastle University. Her research currently focuses on the synthesis of DNA-encoded libraries of CyPeMs (cyclic peptide-small molecule hybrids) for selection against intractable protein targets. Harriet completed her MSci in Chemistry at Imperial College London, before undertaking an MSc in Drug Discovery at Newcastle University. In 2018 she joined the Waring group at Newcastle to undertake her PhD which focused on the development of DNA-compatible chemistry for application in DNA-encoded libraries.
